Web site said this would fit my vehicle however, my distributor is a screw-down type and a clamp-down type was sent. I cut off the clamp-down fasteners, drilled out the holes to accept screws from the old distributor and everything's fine.

Cap and rotor fit and function is perfect. The kit is supposed to come with a carbon "button" and a low resistance button to use with a high energy ignition system such as MSD 6aL (which is what I have). My kit came with 2 carbons and no low resistance button. Called MSD, and had the correct button delivered in 2 days, no questions asked. My experience with MSD has been that their customer service is top notch. Mistakes will happen, it's how they're dealt with that truly matters and MSD is tops in my book. Full disclosure, since Jan 2015, I have installed their Atomic EFI, 6AL ignition, plug wires, separators and this cap/rotor kit. The quality, fit and function of all of the parts are excellent. More important, customer service and tech support has been superb which is very important as I am a "shade tree mechanic" doing my first install of any of their products. ...read more
