bad product , terrible tech support

this is the third cap and rotor combo for my 8366 distributor in 2 years and or 1500 miles in between.. the materials in this setup cause it to corrode and turn green after 500 miles !!! MSD claims it is a defective batch... I was sent a new cap and rotor from MSD..same problem..i switched to Mallory...problem solved.

the original cap and rotor lasted 500 km before the spring in the carbon button that contacts the rotor ,failed. this then caused a meltdown within the cap. this has happened to my other 2 vehicles as well.hoping this one lasts a little longer as its used in remote areas. otherwise its all good.

Very fast shipping, great price. 1995 K2500 truck was out of service due to corrosion on distributer cap points. Replaced using MSD cap and rotor kit. Install took less than 15 minutes, and truck was back in the road, running better than I can remember.
