MSD Street Fire coils will improve the performance of your late model GM or Ford vehicle. The E-core dual connector and TFI coils feature epoxy-filled construction and 48,000 maximum volts. They mount directly in place of the factory coil and accept the factory connectors for an easy installation.

good factory replacement

First off, this is not a MSD product! It is made by another company and branded MSD. It is nothing more then a high end factory replacement. I have run all the major brands of performance coils for the 3.8/3.9 mustangs. They all performed about the same. You will get a slightly hotter spark, but without a tune and some good plugs its no gain. If your expecting a MSD high quality product, this will disappoint you. ...read more

Visually, coil appears to be identical to stock coil. Performance seems to be same as stock coil - not noticeable improvement. Dissappointing that coil is made in China. Considering all of this, seems to be overpriced - perhaps just paying for the MSD brand name?
