These are the same overall size as 14mm thread 3/4-inch reach Accel shorty plugs. I just installed them in a SBC 350 and started the car in the garage a couple of times. Based on color after running the motor up to 175 degrees idle no load in 52 degree ambient air temp, the MSD 71R6YS iridium plugs are a cooler heat range than the Accel 416S plugs I was using. The MSD plugs run tan, and the Accels ran white. Motor should run a little cooler when stuck at stop lights in the summer running these plugs. ...read more
